Union Jack Shower

I would say this shower was a huge success. Thanks to my amazing customer Kelly for the pictures of this gorgeous shower. I mean check out the flower crowns everyone had on. There was so much attention to detail. I loved working on all the paper aspects for this shower from the invites and banners to the place cards and table tents. Birthday Bash With Spilling Beans

My son's 2 year Birthday Party was difficult to pick a theme because when he likes something he LOVES it and this boy loves a lot of things. That is when I decided the perfect theme for him would be a Harris' Favorite Things Party and we had his favorite colors and toys and food. 

I had so much fun designing change of address cards for my sister who just bought their first home!

Christmas in September?

I cannot believe I am getting ready to list some Christmas Card designs in the shop...toooo soon. Here are a couple designs that will be going up this coming weekend. I have already started brainstorming new design ideas for myself and family members for our 2013 Christmas cards. We will see if I can actually make the ideas a reality cause when babies and toddlers are a part of the plan who knows what you are in for....gotta love those little rascals.

The Name Fits Perfect

I now know truly that the name Spilling Beans is perfect for me.

Recently I was driving home from a wedding showcase and put my supplies in my back seat of my car. I had used a long white basket and filled it with white beans to display my invitations and was so happy with how it turned out. As I was just about to go through an orange/yellow light at an intersection I quickly stopped. Unfortunately I know the consequences of that and they have cameras here everywhere that take your picture if you ever happen to accidentally go through on a red light. But as I stopped the basket I had placed so carefully on the floor in the back of my car fell over and I could hear the 8 bags of "beans spilling" underneath my seat. We are still cleaning up the beans today. I think my husband is sick of the beans crunching underneath him every time he moves his seat. I think it is pretty funny, but of course not at the time.

I don't mean you have to buy them something outrageous but just let them know. It is the perfect excuse to tell them in the written word what they mean to you. You can be sappy, poetic, truthful, creative or just plain hilarious. Either way it will mean the world to that person that you thought of them and took the time to tell them you care.
